A home stands for warmth, love, and protection, but the walls of a house hold shadows of the past and reminders of our mortality. Little thought is placed on our homes' quiet recording of our lives. While we go about our daily routines of preparing for work or cooking dinner, the house absorbs traces of these events. And when objects become trapped in the layers of its walls, time stops. This sixty-three page book examines how an individual matters when buildings continue to stand long after we are gone.
